Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month

Updated: Jun 12, 2021

The Justice and Inclusion Team of Crown of Glory joins with communities across the country to mark Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month. This year's theme is Advancing Leaders Through Purpose-Driven Service.

We began the month with a conversation about racism toward our Asian-American neighbors. Thank you to our community leaders and neighbors who were able to be part of this important conversation.

Dive in to all these resources for education throughout the rest of the month:

Asian Americans Advancing Justice - Learn more about efforts to advance the civil and human rights for Asian-Americans

Coalition of Asian-American Leaders - Envisions a state where all Minnesotans, regardless of background, are actively engaged and can achieve prosperity

Hollaback! - A global, people-powered movement to end harassment — in all its forms. Offers training, resources, and research material.

May Reads - Celebrate Asian Pacific American Heritage Month by reading a few of the many stories by authors of Asian and Pacific Islander heritage and cultures.

Minnesota Rice - Twin Cities chefs and bartenders raising awareness and support against racism towards our Asian-American community
